The Cantus Planus Board has agreed to ask for a slightly increased registration fee of 200 euro for the conference participants compared to the Växjö conference in 2018 (i.e. before the worldwide inflationary rises).
The fee includes printed information material, lunch on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, meals on Tuesday and Thursday evening, coffee breaks with coffee, tea and refreshments, concerts on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, a closing dinner on Saturday and a coach excursion on Friday (from morning until evening).
While we hope participants will stay for the whole of the conference – to benefit from the Cantus Planus experience – we realise that some colleagues will only be able to attend in part. A per diem reduction in fees is foreseen; please contact the Hungarian conference organisers.
However, based on experience so far, we ask that if you can afford it, you contribute to the common costs by not asking for a refund of one or two missed meals or the cost of the excursion. On the one hand, it would be very inconvenient to keep track of who has paid in and who has not, and on the other hand, it is easy to see that some costs (e.g. bus hire) are the same per lane. However, we try to make exceptions for young people in need.

The Premonstrensian Abbey's Finance Office will inform the organisers of the payments on a regular basis. If an invoice for the payment is required, they will be happy to issue it in the usual EU format or as requested by the participants.
